PuertaDelSol.com does not set first-party or third-party cookies, nor does it use equivalent local storage techniques (such as localStorage) to identify or track visitors. Because of this, under the EU ePrivacy Directive (implemented in Spain via Article 22.2 LSSI-CE), no cookie consent banner is required. The map embedded on some pages uses OpenStreetMap, a service that likewise does not use cookies.

Should any technology requiring cookies be introduced in the future (for example, third-party advertising), the User's prior consent would be requested through the corresponding notice, and this policy would be updated accordingly.

3. Data processed and purpose

This site has no contact forms, user accounts or booking system, so no personal data is voluntarily collected from the User. The only data processed is the following:

  • Server technical logs: our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) transiently processes the IP address and HTTP request data necessary to serve pages, for security and technical operation purposes.
  • Aggregated, anonymous usage analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, which pages are most visited and how the site performs. Both tools identify visits using a hash generated from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours; they do not identify any individual visitor or combine data across different websites.

4. Legal basis

This processing is based on the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in keeping the website operational, secure, and continuously improving its performance and content, without a significant impact on the User's privacy since no identifying data is collected.

5. Data sharing and processors

The technical data described above is hosted and processed by Vercel Inc., which acts as a data processor and relies on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not share data with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

The Website contains links to third-party websites (accommodation, restaurants, activity platforms). Access to those sites is subject to their own privacy policies, which are outside the control of this controller.

6. Retention period

Analytics data is processed in aggregate and anonymous form; the temporary identifier used by Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights is automatically discarded after 24 hours. Server technical logs are kept for the period strictly necessary for security purposes, in accordance with our hosting provider's retention policy.

7. Your rights

Even though this site does not individually identify its visitors, anyone has the right to access their personal data, rectify it, request its erasure, object to its processing, or request its restriction or portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to recepcion@lafondadelosprincipes.com, with the subject line "Data protection".

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing of your data breaches applicable law.

8. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect legislative changes or changes in how the Website operates. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
